We are getting a new addition to the household. A 6 month old lab mix from the Humane Society named Shorty.
Photobucket

She isnt entirely housebroken yet, but seems to like people and is learning to sit and lie down. She and Warner met today and didnt become best buds, but there was no snarling or fighting so I think she will be a happy addition to the pack.

She really doesnt know her name so we are going to call her Gosalyn, Willow, or Pixar.
What y'all think?

Pixar sounds a little mechanical. I like Gosalyn.

I dunno...the glowing robot eye thing she has going on in that pic makes Pixar sound just about right. ;)

i like pixar! (as a name. also as a studio, i suppose.)

gosalyn is pretty, perhaps a bit long. i think within a week you would be calling her gos, or lynn, and that's it.

... i also like willow, but it seems a little overdone or something.

PUPPY!!!!!!

Congratulations on the adoption and good luck with the housebreaking. I still have nightmares from housebreaking Annie. It didn't help that I was working 15 hour days at the time.

Well starting today I am off until Monday and really am not going anywhere. So I should be able to put some real quality time with her.

I wish had had that luxury. I love spending time with my puppy watching her romp around. Yesterday, we had a close encounter with a raccoon as I was walking Annie at 4 am. (I had to be at work at 6. That's the only reason I was up.)

Isn't world kind of interesting at that hour? If you're awake enough to notice.
