Turn the double four today. Not sure how I feel about it. My life is going well enough. I am losing some weight, working, no new health issues. And I should be back in school in March so I can get a real job.

Just nothing seems very memorable about birthdays once you reach a certain age. When you turn 13 you are excited because you are a teenager. When you turn 16 you can drive. Turing 18 means your legal and can drive a car. When you turn 21 you can drink legally. Then when you turn 23 (at least in Michigan) your car insurance go down if you havent been a crazy driver.

After that all there is making yourself crazy when you turn 30 and 40, then looking forward to being 55 and enjoying AARP discounts. They greeting card companies invented Sweetest Day to make money, so maybe they should invent a birthday year that gives you a reason to like growing older and creakier.

Enough being grumpy....

Tonight we are playing Serenity and celebrating mine & Gordie's birthdays. He was 364 days after me so one day a year we are the same age. He has been my best friend since high school and does a hell of a job GMing any game he dives into.

Ann had diabetic cupcakes made with some of them having the logo for our ship the Kismet on them. And I do believe Ann got me Days of Wonder's Battlelore for my birthday. And we got 28 Weeks Later on DVD for Gordo. Should be a fun time for all.
