The NFL's Carolina Panthers have dismissed cheerleaders Renee Thomas and Angela Keathley from the NFL teams' cheer squad for their role in a lesbian bar room sex act and arrest after.
The pair were booted as a result of that incident that occurred in a bar early Sunday morning in Tampa.
The pair was allegedly in a bathroom bar stall engaging in lesbian sex while other patrons were left waiting outside of the stall.
The Charlotte Observer is reporting that Renee Thomas, a UNC Charlotte student, and Angela Keathley, a registered nurse, violated a rule that bans conduct that's embarrassing to the team or organization, Panthers spokesman Charlie Dayton said.
Kristen Owen, a third cheerleader, has been suspended for an undetermined time for violating the same code of conduct, Dayton said.
Owen was not in Tampa during the brawl and has not been charged, but Thomas had Owen's driver's license and presented it to Florida police.
Renee Thomas is 20 years old, and Angela Keathley is 26 according to the Associated Press.
Confrontation after alleged sexual acts in bathroom
Witnesses said the women were having sex in a stall with each other, angering patrons waiting in line to get into the restroom at the club in the Channelside district, according to an AP report.
Apparently the gals were taking a bit too long to "finish up," and that led to a confrontation once they finally emerged from the bathroom stall.
The 20-year old Thomas was charged with battery Sunday after allegedly striking a bar patron when she was leaving the restroom, then landed in even more trouble after police said she gave officers a driver's license belonging to another Panthers cheerleader who was not in Tampa.
Not a good move, but it's an easy guess that the 20-year old needed an over 21 ID to get in the bar.

And I guess Penthouse is already trying to get them to pose. Sheesh.
