Happy Birthday Ghost-Who-Walks!! On this day back in 1936 the Phantom first appeared in the newspaper. This has been one those things I did really get into until my 30's but have enjoyed since and pick up what collections of the older stuff I can find. I just wish someone imported the Australian published newer issues. The Moonstone Comics stuff has been kind of hit or miss for me in quality.
I always liked the generational aspect of the Phantom, makes it easy to to stories with the character in other times without resorting to time machines or "imaginary stories".
