When we started playing Serenity this fall Gordy wanted some other players in the group other than usual suspects. So he recruited some new blood Laura (a college student at MSU) and Eric (her boyfriend).
She hadnt roleplayed much and he had played mostly D&D they turned out to be a great addition to the group. We thought they would be around a while because she was only turning 20, but turns out she was younger than the average when she started college and worked hard and graduated a full year early!
So with her graduating and leaving town soon we had the last ride of the Crew of the Kismet this past Saturday. Ann made a lot of really good food and we had a farewell of Mina and Captain Frank Jager adventure.
Before they left Laura gave each of us a present. We received a nicely made dice bag with our characters names sewn on them. I was touched.
I had my doubts about the two of them, but they turned out to be fun to have around our gaming table.
