God thats bloody stupid! Spoilers for the dumbass Civil War thingie....

Over at Bam! Kapow! today they had a link to the Bendis board where they reveal who the character Penance is in the revamped Thunderbolts. He is Speedball..... what a stupid idea. Evidently his powers only trigger when he is in pain now. I am so glad in some ways I am not running the comic shop right now. My "Comic Curmudgeon" side would be out way too much right now. Triggered by pain? If superpowers were trigged by pain About half the people reading Civil War would be supervillians by now.

Sheesh will the Scarlet Witch wake up in the shower already?

Well it is to those that havent red it yet and with the west coast being allocated on the Civil War comics last couple weeks there ae a lot of people that havent.

I still find it dumbass.

Well, Marvel isn't known for too many smarts. such as placing an ad for the new Iron Fist series IN the 1st issue of said series.
