bruceb will attest I love covers of songs. Things like When Pigs Fly: Songs You Never Thought You'd Hear with Ani Difranco & Jackie Chan covering Unforgettable are some of my favorite things to listen to.
Some of my other faves are Thee Headcoates cover of Teenage Kicks, or the Chubbies doing Good Girls Don't. What a Wonderful World by Joey Ramone is good as well. Top of the World as done by Shonen Knife, 99 Red Balloons by Goldfinger, or Marilyn Manson's version of The KKK Took My Baby Away (the We're a Happy Family: A Tribute to the Ramones is a good listen as well)
Then there are things like the instrumental version of Blitzkrieg Bop by Yo La Tengo and Charlie Brown (Schroeder Version) by JFA that I get a kick out of too.
I am always looking for more covers.... now where did I put the William Shanter LP?
