Scooby Doo's dad dies

Heard this on the way home from work this morning. Scooby Doo wasnt the greatest cartoon ever, but it sure has had a lasting effect on pop culture.

Over at Bam! Kapow! today they had a link to the Bendis board where they reveal who the character Penance is in the revamped Thunderbolts. He is Speedball..... what a stupid idea. Evidently his powers only trigger when he is in pain now. I am so glad in some ways I am not running the comic shop right now. My "Comic Curmudgeon" side would be out way too much right now. Triggered by pain? If superpowers were trigged by pain About half the people reading Civil War would be supervillians by now.

Sheesh will the Scarlet Witch wake up in the shower already?
