The brain tends to wander working third shift....

Why does the bag of microwave popcorn have to be placed "this side down".
Why does cold water taste more refreshing?
Why do commercials on late night TV become more and more annoying as the hours grow later?
Why do birds appear.... oops never mind.
Why does Sonic advertise in Michigan, there arent any of their restaurants here that I know of?
Does anyone actually read this?

Now off to work. Must make the world safe for cable!

Microwave popcorn bags have to be placed a certain side down because if placed on the other side the bag wouldn't unfold well.

And I suspect the nasty suspension of cooled butter oil surrounding the unpopped kernels are arranged in an optimal way for popping. But the unfolding thing is the main reason. It'd unfold and shove itself against the roof of your microwave and not open all the way and burn.

Cold water draws heat out of the mouth and throat, helping the refreshingness.

Late night slots are cheaper, so the smaller companies (and spammers) favor them. Especially places like 17money.com and its RICO-evading alts.

It's cheaper to buy advertising nationally on networks now than to buy it just in the regions where Sonic exists.

And yes.

Aerated water tastes better than non-aerated water. Boiled water has little air in it and if you shake it up a bit cool it, air is reintroduced and it will taste better.

And it's "Why do birds suddenly appear" (every time you are near)... ;)
