I have just finished watching Season One of B5 on DVD and I am starting on watching Season Two as I type. I am not sure how many times I have re-watched the whole thing now.

It is interesting to watch the slow transformation of G'Kar and Londo from being a hot-head and a fool respectively. Then seeing G'Kar becoming a philosopher-preist and Londo becoming a tragic fool.

I am also lifting some general ideas from this for my C&C game which I cant elaborate too much here, because all three of my players read this blog regularly.

But when I get further along designing the City of Riverhallow I will throw up more information here.

I was recently given Stairways to Heaven which contains (Yup! you guessed it) 22 versions of Stairway to Heaven. Of which my favorite is the one by Neil Pepper. Though the "Rock Lobster" and "Lucy in the Sky" versions have their charms but that one is the best.

Me love covers!

I am either old or dead. A girl was walking a German Shepherd when I was almost home from work today. I noticed how pretty the dog was before I paid any attention to how the girl looked.

In other new Ann took Tuesday off so I actually get to do some stuff with her! YAY! And tomorrow I am running my C&C game YAY! Again. One of these days I need to come up with a title for it.

Tonight we (myself, Ann, Chuck, Eric, and Steph) went over to out friend Gordy and Brandee's house for pizza, gossip, and games. Much fun was had by all. We played Operation Corndog which was one of the last Placebo Press games we put out. I was the "spiritual" sequel to Trailer Park Gods.

I sometimes miss making the games and sometimes I dont. Playing Corndog made it one of the nights where I did miss it. Then I came to my senses. :-D

From Kenzer......

"Due to a massive price increase at our printers, we are forced to increase the cover price of Knights of the Dinner Table magazine from $3.99 to $4.99 in November 2005 (Issue #109). We've tried to keep a lid on increased pricing for KoDT for some time now, but this latest event really forced our hand. Upon review of the closest competing magazines, we feel strongly that even at the increased price point, KoDT is still a baragain among gaming magazines.

Subscription prices will remain the same: (domestic) 24.00 for 6 issues, $45.00 for 12 issues, $80 for 24 issues."

Then take all the Good, Bad, and the Ugly, The Gamemasters Workshop. The Kingdoms of Kalamar. Hackmaster crap. And the rest out of the damn thing!

I just want the damn comics! $4.99 is lot to pay for nearly fifty pages of stuff I dont read! And this whole Cattlepunk/Brian GMing comes off as more of an ad for Aces & Eights Showdown thing that was just released.

I have been reading KoDT since its days in Shadis (Now THAT was a magazine) and I really just want to read that. Argghhhhhh!

OK I feel better now. Lon no longer want to smash puny "magazine".

Ann bought Constantine at the same time she picked up Due South for me. After watching it a couple times I am surprised how much I liked it. I just divorced myself from the fact it was based upon Hellblazer and it worked just fine.

I really liked Gavin Rossdale (Balthazar) and Tilda Swinton (Gabriel) and was a bit annoyed that they killed off off Chas.

The only element that really bugged me was that damn gun. Why the hell did they need that? Had to make the final fight scene more sexy?

And if I ever run another modern occult I think I will borrow Papa Midnite's vault for it. I have had some odd ideas for one ever since reading the WoD 2.0 core book. But then I always have game ideas.
